Careers support for graduates and alumni

At Essex we believe in a culture of membership, so as a graduate from the University you have access to careers support for life. We understand that becoming established in the jobs market and developing your career isn’t always easy. We know that the path to success may not be straight or smooth. Every person’s situation is unique. So, we want to be there for you, whatever your future career circumstances.

Online Support

CareerHub, our online student and graduate careers information portal and jobs board, is full of vacancies for graduate jobs and paid graduate internships. If you’re still looking for your dream job then you still have access to explore options, access careers resources like CV360 and book appointments.

If you are having trouble accessing CareerHub since you graduated please visit our Accessing Essex CareerHub page or email careersinfo@essex.ac.uk

Graduate outcomes survey

Each year, we ask for your help to promote your department and the University to next year’s potential students. You will be contacted in relation to the statutory Graduate Outcomes survey - either by post, email, text or telephone. The Graduate Outcomes survey is a national survey of all UK university leavers. It’s a way of showing us what you're doing 15 months after you graduate, whether that's employment or further study.

Tell us what you are up to

Whether you have already secured a great graduate role or would like the support to do so, let us know by emailing careersinfo@essex.ac.uk. We love to hear from all our graduates to find out what you are up to after Essex and how we might be able to support you.
