Jazzing it up

The Colchester Campus' autumn music programme concludes with jazz at the Lakeside Theatre.

Following jazz performances in October and November, the Lakeside Theatre now welcomes the Arun Ghosh Indo-Jazz Sextet, at 8.30pm on 6 December. Arun Ghosh is a British-Asian clarinettist and composer whose musical vocabulary and vision reflects his rich heritage.

John Law, the University’s Jazz Musician-in-Residence, is at the Lakeside at 8.30pm on 10 December. A prize-winning classical piano prodigy, who now pursues jazz, John Law is acclaimed for both his solo work and his band, The Art of Sound.
