Sword fights at the Tower

Second-year BA Specialist Performance Skills (Stage Combat) students are staging The Essex Rebellion at the Tower of London this month.

History joins forces with imagination for this joint project between East 15 and The Royal Armouries at the Tower of London. The second-year students will be creating a production based around the events leading up to, including and following on from the Essex Rebellion of 1601.

Audiences can journey through the Tower to meet the key players and witness scenes of intrigue, conspiracy, duels and fights.

The Essex Rebellion at the Tower of London runs throughout the day during Tower of London opening hours, Tuesday 27 May to Saturday 31 May. Please note: there is no fee for the performance but usual entry rates to the Tower of London apply.
