At her retirement presentation, the Registrar, Dr Tony Rich, paid
tribute to Moira’s many achievements, including the revision of the
University’s charter and statutes, her role in an essay-writing sting, and
her calm, hard working, ‘firm but fair’ approach. He also praised the
contribution she has made to the sector through her involvement in the
Association of University Administrators (AUA). He added: ‘Thank you for
the support, care and consideration you have shown for the students and
colleagues with whom you have worked over three decades. You have made an
enormous contribution to the University.’
