The departmental site development cycle
Until recently, all academic departments and centres with students had a slot in a
four-year cycle of site development, a service provided by Web and Learning Technology.
Since the launch of the new University website in October 2011 this position has changed. Now departmental sites are moving towards using a single corporate template for their sites and once this process is complete their sites will follow the design cycle for the overall University website.
For reference, the old cycle was as follows:
2008/09 Academic year
- Government
- Language and Linguistics
- History
- HHS
- CCFEA
- Art History
- Human Rights
- Psychoanalytic Studies

Note: some departments had slipped to a five year
