Copyright and privacy
Top-level University web pages link to disclaimer and privacy policy
information from the foot of the page. Other University web pages should
also do this.
Under most circumstances it's fine simply to link to the central
disclaimer and
privacy policy. Where web pages
operate in a manner not covered by these central pages (eg where personal
data is collected for reasons not covered by the privacy policy), or where
there may be more complex copyright positions (eg where a site has included
permitted content where the University is not the copyright owner),
alternative, or additional, disclaimers and/or privacy policies should be
used.
