Processing UCAS applications
When an application is received from UCAS it is given to the
Undergraduate Admissions Adviser responsible for the course.
This Adviser will deal with your application personally throughout the
UCAS process. You can find out who will deal with your
application from the staff contact
page.
The key stages of applications to the University of Essex are:
- Application received and reviewed by Academic Selector
- Applicants will be informed by post of the Academic Selector's
decision
- Applicants will be invited to a
Visit and Interview Day
- Unconditional Firm applicants are mailed all documents regarding
accommodation and registration in late June or early July
- Conditional Firm applicants are sent accommodation forms in late
June or July
- Mid August A level results released and Conditional Firm and
Insurance applicants' offers confirmed or rejected.
- September all Unconditional Firm applicants sent course
enrolment, accommodation addresses and registration documents
- October - Registration
