Visits and interviews

Visit and Interview days are held on Wednesdays during the Autumn and Spring Terms, with a final one in the first week of the Summer Term.

If you apply to the University of Essex through UCAS you will be invited to a Visit Day or Interview Day by the Department to which you have applied as soon as your UCAS form is received and processed. This will give you an opportunity to talk to academic staff in the Department, view student accommodation, the campus and meet current undergraduate students. We also welcome parents on Visit and Interview days.

The Admissions Office provides a free coach service from Colchester Main Train Station for those applicants who travel by train.

For further assistance, please visit our guide to travelling to the University.

If you have already received your Visit or Interview day invitation, please register for your myEssex applicant portal where you  can reply online.
