Your Essentials is a one-stop shop to help you make your first week at University hassle free. You can buy meal plans, new home packs, entertainment and sport passes before you even get here.
If you'll be living in University accommodation, the essentials you buy from us will be in your room when you move in.
Your Essentials options
Your food
Our pre-paid meal plans start from just £35. You can buy blocks of ten meals, which can be breakfast,
lunch or dinner options. These meals can be redeemed at any time during the academic year and you can top-up at any time. You can choose to eat in a number of our outlets, each
with their own ‘Your food’ weekly menu.
Your new home packs
Our new home packs include bedding, electrical adaptor and cleaning packs and start from £11.99.
Your entertainment
Get your year off to a flying start by joining Passport to Sport, giving you access to our fantastic Evolve gym, sport facilities and fitness classes.
Passport to Sport membership starts at just £60 per year.
You can also get access to the best events during welcome week by buying your Students' Union Mega Pass before you arrive.

Your entertainment
Get your year off to a flying start by becoming an member of our Evolve gym, conveniently located next to University Square accommodation. As a member you'll have access to the
Evolve gym and range of fitness classes. Student membership is only £112.50 per year.
