Fernne Brennan is a Senior Lecturer in Law in the School of Law and member of the Human Rights Centre. Her research focuses on reparations, discrimination law, human rights and criminal law.
Publications in this field include; 'Race, Rights Reparations: Exploring a Reparations Framework for Addressing Trade Inequality’ in Hamline Journal of Public Law and Policy (2008);'Time For a Change. Reforming WTO Trading Ruler to Take Account of Reparations', in J. Dine and A. Fagan (eds.) Capitalism and Human Rights (Edward Elgar Publishing Limited, 2006) and 'Are Reparations for Slavery Justified?'
