Essex Transitional Justice Network Film Series

The Essex Transitional Justice Network, in conjunction with the Department of Literature, Film, and Theatre Studies, has run a successful film series since 2009. Films relevant to Transitional Justice are shown in room LTB10 at the University of Essex once a month, and are free for students, staff and members of the public alike to attend. Each film is introduced by an academic or professional with experience of the film's subject matter, and a general Q & A session is held after the screening.

We also have a film library, and DVDs of films in the series are available to hire free of charge for students and staff associated with the Network or working in the field of transitional justice. Please contact us, or visit the general office in LiFTs, if you are interested in doing so.
