Mental health and Wellbeing

Everyone has mental health – sometimes good, sometimes not so good.  If you have any concerns or would like to talk, please use one of our services.  We can provide advice and Information on a range of services at the University or in the local community. 

The Mental Health Team

Specialist Mental Health Advisers and Mentors are based in Student SupportWe can help in a number of ways.  You can contact the advisers based at Colchester Campus or find out more information from Student Support at your campus.

The Counselling Service

Counselling offers you space to explore educational, social, personal or emotional concerns, or whatever issues you choose to raise, in an environment which is non-judgmental and strictly confidential. Individual sessions are available at Colchester, Loughton and Southend and some group sessions are available.  Follow the link for further information and details of how to make an appointment.
