How to apply

We provide you with the comprehensive information you need to make the best choice about your university career. If you have any specific questions, then please e-mail us.

How do I apply?

Undergraduate applications should be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). You make your application online, via the UCAS Apply service. UCAS charge a small fee for processing your application and full details on this process can be obtained from the UCAS website in the Applying Online Guide.

The UCAS code for Essex is ESSEX E70. Our individual campus codes for our Loughton and Southend campuses are ‘L’ and ‘S’ respectively.

I am a UK student at school/college. How do I apply?

If you are a UK student and still at school or college, you can apply through your school. Your careers advisor or teacher can check and submit your completed application to UCAS.

I am an EU or international student. How do I apply?

If you are an EU or international student, it may be possible to apply through your school or college but this is not common practice. You can apply online through UCAS Apply, as an independent applicant.

I am not at school/college. How do I apply?

If you are no longer at school or college, then you can apply online through UCAS Apply, as an independent applicant.
