Our University is proud of its vibrant and diverse multicultural community. The Multi-Faith Chaplaincies at Colchester and Southend provide supportive and safe spaces for all of our University members, with a warm welcome to all, regardless of faith.

Our Chaplains are all happy to give pastoral support, advice, or a listening ear on a drop-in or appointment basis.

As well as our regular Chaplaincy-led events, there are a number of Students’ Union faith societies you can join, giving you many opportunities to practise your faith, meet others and socialise.

The Multi-Faith Chaplaincy represents a range of different faiths, but even if your faith is not represented, the Chaplaincy staff support all of our students and can provide guidance about other local places of worship and/or try to put you in touch with other faith leaders, where these are available within the local community.
