Fulbright Commission Scholarship
The US-UK Fulbright Commission was established in 1949 and promotes
cultural understanding through educational exchange. The University of
Essex is a Fulbright Commission University Partner and will support one
Fulbright scholar to study for a taught Masters degree at the University
for each of the 2011-12 and 2012-13 academic years.
The award consists of payment of tuition fees plus a stipend. All
award holders studying in the UK attend a series of orientation events
during the year. The Commission also arranges relevant institutional
memberships and assigns award holders a British alumna/us as a mentor.
Details of the selection criteria and the application process are on
the
Fulbright Commission website.
