University of Essex Scholarships for entry 2012
The majority of the scholarships awarded are for research students.
In some cases, departments also award scholarships to master's students.
This table lists the type of programmes (taught or research) for which
the department will accept scholarship applications.
Students applying for PhD study in the Departments of Economics, Government,
Language and Linguistics and Sociology can apply for the
University of Essex Social Science Research Scholarship. Students studying in the
Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies can apply for both the University of Essex
and the University of Essex Social Science Research Scholarship.
