Access to Learning Fund: Emergency Loans
At the start of term we can offer small, short-term emergency loans
to students experiencing financial difficulties because the first
instalment of their Student Loan/NHS Bursary is delayed.
In order to apply for the Emergency Loan you must be able to provide
evidence that you have applied for your NHS Bursary or Student Loan.
(i.e. a letter stating that your application is pending, a print out of
your application status from the Student Finance website, etc).
Application forms can be collected from Student Support reception at the
Colchester campus, the Student Support office at the Loughton campus or
the Student Admin Counter on Level 2 of the Gateway Building if you are based
in Southend.
