Funding for international students

Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships

These International Scholarships are specifically for non-EU students. Awards will be made on the basis of academic merit, and all applications for relevant courses will automatically be considered for a scholarship award. The scholarship is off-set against your tuition fees.

British Council

British Council scholarships cover office fees and living expenses. Your local British Council will have information on any scholarship schemes for which you are eligible to apply.

US Direct Loans

We are registered with the United States Department of Education as a foreign school and federal direct loans are available to US students studying at our University. For further information on how to apply please see here.

Government sponsorships

Many national governments provide scholarships for students wishing to study overseas. You should enquire at your own Ministry of Education in good time, as most sponsors have formal application procedures. The amount of funding available will vary according to your country.

Ford Foundation

The Ford Foundation International Fellowships Programme (IFP) provides postgraduate opportunities to students wishing to further development in their own countries.
