Student satisfaction surveys
It's survey season from January to June 2012
Three major student satisfaction surveys are now live
from January to June 2012, and we'll be asking Essex
students to complete the one that’s for you.
This year we really want as
many students as possible to take part and have their say. Great prizes will
be up for grabs for you when you complete your survey, including an iPad,
Graduation goodies and free SU tickets.
Undergraduates
From January to April it's the University of
Essex's own Student Satisfaction Survey -
that tells us on a more local level how we're doing and where we can make
improvements.
Final year undergraduates
From January to April 2012 it's the National
Student Survey results from this feed into University league tables
that feature in national newspapers. Please note: during the survey
period the University may contact you by email and/or text. You can opt out

Postgraduate taught students
From February to June it's the Postgraduate
Taught Experience Survey giving Masters students a chance
to have their say. Please note: during the survey period the University may
contact you by email and/or text. You can opt out of receiving such

Please note that if you are in your first year of a part time post graduate taught programme you will
not be able to complete a PTES survey this year. You will be surveyed in 2013. Thank you for your interest.
All three surveys follow a similar format and cover most elements of
University life, such as teaching, learning resources, accommodation and career
development. They are all undertaken annually during the spring term.
