Staff Survey 2012
The 2012 Staff Survey is now closed
The University of Essex Staff Survey 2012, which was devised by University staff, including trades union representatives,
working with survey experts Capita, went live from 30 October to 11 December 2012 and is now closed.
The response rate is a very encouraging 55.54 per cent. This is almost six per cent more
than the response rate to the 2009 survey. Thank you to all members of staff who took the
time to respond to the survey.
This confidential survey has aimed to gather staff views on what it’s like to work at the
University of Essex.
Capita, who devised the survey on behalf of the University, will now produce a full report that
will be published on these pages during February 2013. This will also be followed by an
action plan to address the findings.
