The new benefits scheme for University of Essex staff
The University of Essex has teamed up with award-winning employee benefits company,
Reward Compass, to offer you everyday savings and discounts in an extensive new
staff benefits scheme, Essex Offers.
How it works
The scheme offers easy, online access to all the benefits available to you –
because you work at the University of Essex. Benefits range from medical insurance to
dental care plans, alongside money-saving salary sacrifice schemes such as childcare
vouchers and mobile phones, good local deals, shopping cards and exclusive privileges
– available only to University of Essex staff.
Sign up today
When you link through to the secure Reward Compass portal, you need to first register as a new user,
then sign-up with your University e-mail address, your payroll number (this is the Employee Number on your payslip)
and your name, and follow the authentication and registration process - which includes responding to an e-mail that will be sent to you.
You can then enter the portal and explore your options.* Reward Compass will add you to their database and send you e-mail updates
about special offers.
Offline offers
You don’t have to have regular access to the web to get the most out of Essex Offers – there are also many offline discounts.
Just call: 0844 842 8200 and quote ‘You at Work’ to order a reloadable gift card from a range of participating
outlets that offer from 7 to 10 per cent off, including Argos, Homebase, Cineworld, Comet, Debenhams
and House of Fraser, and a saving of 45 per cent on joining the AA Breakdown Cover service.
Enter the prize draw
If you sign up to Essex Offers online from 15 October to 9 November 2012, you will be automatically entered
into the free prize draw to win dinner, bed and breakfast for two for a Friday overnight stay in the best
available room at Wivenhoe House, or an iPad 3. Other prizes include 4 x £50 vouchers or cards.
Winners will be notified at the end of November 2012.
