What is CHUMS?

CHUMS is an activity club for children aged between 8 and 14 years old.
(Children's Holidays at the University of Essex Multi-activity Sports)

Where is the course run?

The activity club is run at the University of Essex Sports Centre, Wivenhoe Park, Colchester, Essex.

When are the courses run?

Easter 2013:

Tuesday 2nd April - Friday 12th April 2013.
Each day will start at 9:00am and will finish at 5.00pm.

Prices per Child (4/5 days)
Students Child £37.00 / £46.00
Staff £49.00 / £61.00
Public £60.00 / £75.00

(Children can arrive at the Sports Centre from 8.30am, new earlier drop off time).

All activities are carried out under close supervision with qualified first aid staff within the Sports Centre.

Please note: Please supply a packed lunch for your children. Some of the activities will be outside therefore sun protection as well as wet weather clothing or a change of clothes is advisable. The staff at the University of Essex Sports Centre aim to make sure that the children have as much fun as possible! A discount is only available for children from the same family. (brothers/sisters)

What Activities are on offer?

A variety of activities will be offered each day for example Unihoc, Tennis, Basketball, Kwik Cricket, Football, Dodge Ball, Frisbee Golf, Badminton and much, much more.
