2005 Ski Holiday, Schladming, Austria

The Sports Centre organises a skiing trip each year in the early part of January. This year's trip is to:
Schladming, Austria, 8th January to 15th January 2005.

The Resort

Schladming is a classic, medieval Austrian village with varied après ski and excellent non-ski activities. Four major areas connect to make Schladming one of the biggest linked circuits in Austria with enough variety and scope to satisfy every ability. The resort has one of the best lift companies in Austria and a powerful snowmaking system is used early in the season to provide a good base. The Dachstein glacier is also included on the lift pass and is only 45 minutes away. The main area of skiing closest to the hotel offers heavily wooded, north facing slopes, which are groomed to perfection. Schladming itself is a World Cup resort and it is possible to be timed on the world cup run. There is also an epic 7.5km toboggan run through the pines and under the stars!
