The University's 36th Annual Sports Awards Dinner will take place at Wivenhoe House in 2013. This is a formal, black tie event attended by various principal officers of the University, including the Vice Chancellor, Registrar and local dignitaries.

The highlight of the sporting calendar, the dinner awards final year students who have made an outstanding contribution to Sports at Essex, along with other team and special awards. For more details on the awards themselves, please go to the details page.

2013 Awards Procedure

Nomination forms will be available to download from the Awards page of the Sports Federation website.
NB: NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

28 January 2013	On-line application forms available from the Sports Federation website for Sports Awards 2013.
10 March 2013	Full colours and exceptional service to sport application deadline. Applications to be submitted to the Sports & Societies Office on the SU corridor.
29 March 2013	Results of initial submissions made public.
28 April 2013	Team/Special award and individual appeals deadline.
18 March 2013	Tickets for the Sports Awards Dinner on sale.
10 May 2013	Appeal decisions and team/special award shortlists published.
17 May 2013	Ticket sales closed
