University of Essex Sports Scholarship Scheme

The University of Essex Sports Scholarship Scheme provides structured support to talented student athletes, enabling you to reach your full sporting and academic potential.

Features of the Scholarship include:

Unlimited access to Evolve and University sports facilities
Sports science support services via the Human Performance Unit (Physiological testing, nutrition, psychology, performance analysis)
Performance lifestyle support
Strength & Conditioning
Physiotherapy
Financial assistance towards expenses
Assistance with accommodation & parking on campus

Am I eligible for the scheme?

Sports Scholarship Criteria

University of Essex student accepted on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme
Demonstrate sporting achievement or potential for high achievement at national/international standard at junior/senior level
Selected for Home Nations University elite level competitions or World University Games
Compete in sport featured within BUCS competition

Each application will be based on its own merit
