Aerobics Class Descriptions

Class Description
STEP (intermediate) A quicker paced STEP class aimed at those who have stepped before. Intermediate level.
Legs, Bums & Tums A traditional conditioning class focusing on the larger muscle groups - For those who want to tone and shape up, a gentle and low impact workout.
Blast FX A dynamic conditioning class focusing on bodyweight only exercises - no equipment necessary. High energy routines designed to burn fat & boost fitness. Suitable for all abilities.
FitBox

A combat-based circuits class designed for total body fitness and conditioning. Mixing cardio and core work with kick and punch combinations.

Zumba Fitness Join the party! Zumba Fitness is an easy to follow, Latin inspired, high-energy, calorie burning fitness party! Suitable for all abilities.
Beginners STEP Basic routines ideal for those new to step, but also with harder options and weights for those who are more advanced.
Fitball & Stretch A whole body workout that will tone & strengthen those key core muscles. Combines stability ball work and general core conditioning exercises with extended stretching to develop flexibility.
Beatbox Boxing to the beat - Pad & gloves workout to the music. All levels.
JUST PLAY
Running Club
A fun session that includes many varied aspects to running. Sessions are organised to suit ability - all levels welcome.
HardCORE Strengthen up that core!!! An aerobics style warm up with both high and low impact options, followed by a 15minute blast of core strengthening exercise. Suitable for all abilities.
Astanga Yoga Work through a series of stretches & poses to develop flexibility, and to tone & strengthen the body. Provides a challenging workout, followed by further stretch & relaxation. Suitable for all abilities.

Body Pump & Tone

High impact, highly motivating and highly recommended for people who like to work at a high intense pace to work C.V. to fatigue.

Yoga

Hatha yoga, focus on asana (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises) and relaxation.

Circuits Work round a series of stations which combine resistance & cardio exercises for a total body workout. Suitable for all abilities.
Just Combat

A freestyle combat workout, creating kick and punch combinations with music to blitz calories and improve cardiovascular fitness.

Fight FX Fight FX is a mixed martial arts based workout to music. It incorporates kicks, blocks & punches and a variety of fight moves.
Pilates A combination of standing & floor based exercises that aim to improve posture, develop mobility, tone & flexibility, and strengthen core muscles. Please bring a blanket/towel for relaxation at the end of the class.

Jump FX

High energy interval session comprised of easy to follow sequences designed to maximise fitness gains. Followed by 15mins conditioning & stretches.
