Event hosting

Although the Sports Centre facilities are primarily for the provision of sport and recreation, due to their flexibility they lend themselves equally well to hosting events, be they larger scale sporting events (Cancer Research UK Race for Life, British Disc Golf Championships for example) or the BBC's Antiques Roadshow.

Seminar room

is used primarily as a teaching room but it can also be used for club meetings and it is also ideal for hosting the theory elements of coaching courses. AV equipment can be made available on request.

Balcony

provides a great view of the sports hall for spectators (maximum of 50) and the small kitchen/servery is convenient for serving refreshments for larger/all day events. This is also a flat screen television (with Sky Sports) so major sporting events can be enjoyed with friends.

Squash spectators

Two of the glass back squash courts have a viewing area - ideal for squash tournaments/competitions.
