Statutory data returns

Statutory data returns

Planning and Business Intelligence is responsible for making several annual funding returns to the Office for Students (OfS) and Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).

  • Higher Education Students Early Survey (HESES) - this is a census count of taught students active on 1 December and estimates of activity for the remainder of the year
  • Discover Uni is the official, authoritative source of information and guidance on higher education in the UK. It is designed to support prospective students in deciding whether, where and what to study. The site replaced Unistats in September 2019.
  • Provider Profile (formally Institutional Profile) - is a record covering location information of our campuses and mapping details of academic departments to academic cost centres
  • Completion Status Survey (CSS) - is an update to the previous year's HESA Student return with regards to students' study status

If you have a specific query, please contact us.
