Biography:

Originally from a natural sciences background, Ben has a BSc in Biology and Computer Science (Southampton University, UK) and a PhD in Computer Studies (Loughborough University, UK). He has used techniques from cognitive psychology, anthropology, sociology and ethnography during his time as an academic and commercial research scientist engaged in user studies, human computer interaction and applied social research. Current research:Ben's current research projects are listed on the CRESI  website.
Research interests:Ben's research interests are in the co-evolution of technology and social practices with a particular focus on variations in processes of co-adaptation, communication and self-organisation across time and space. For more information see the CRESI  website.
