Research centres
Research centres at our University aim to encourage and strengthen research
across a number of disciplines and departments. They bring together academics
and research students to share knowledge and expertise and explore joint
research opportunities.
Reflecting the strengths of the research in our department, we have three
major research centres, which drive our activities in these fields.
CISC and CRESI organise their own seminar series, which run alongside our
departmental seminars.
Research staff and students align to the most relevant centre. Membership is
not exclusive to Essex staff and students; we have many associates working with
us from universities around the world.
