Knowledge exchange is about the exchange of ideas, research and experience
with non-academic audiences. There are many opportunities for businesses and
organisations to get involved and work with us.
As a leading research-intensive department we can work in partnership with
businesses, charities, voluntary organisations and use our resources and
expertise to support our community.
We have particular expertise in the following areas:
- social research methods (interviewing, focus groups);
- survey analysis;
- documenting oral history;
- counter-terrorism and surveillance;
- youth justice system;
- labour markets; and
- social mobility.
