Learning Resource Centre
Containing a wide range of academic study skills resources, the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) on the Colchester Campus is an
informal study area situated off Square 3, in room
4.204. The centre is equipped with reference books, current
general interest journals and magazines, DVDs and computer
terminals linked to the University intranet.
Come to the LRC to browse, to borrow - and to book in for a free 30-minute session with one of our
academic skills advisors.
- We are open Monday - Friday, 9am -
5pm.
- All University students and staff
can use the LRC.
- To borrow materials, just bring
along your registration card or staff ID
card.
-
LRC Advisors can give one-to-one help with academic
writing and English language skills.
-
We are working on making it possible to
browse our materials online.
We can't help with proofreading, but you can find guidance on proofreading,
and a list of freelance proofreaders on the University's
proofreading website.
