Research Planning and Assessment
The Research and Enterprise Office has overall responsibility for research planning within the University. This includes the annual research planning process which was undertaken as preparation for the Research Assessment Exercise and continues in advance of the Research Excellence Framework (REF). The Research Strategy Committee (RSC) has oversight of research strategy at the University; and is responsible for the University's submission to the RAE/REF . The RSC is also responsible for ensuring that models of good practice for the management of research are established and promoted.
