Knowledge Exchange encompasses a wide spectrum of activity, including:

  • Participating in activities aimed at non-academic audiences
  • Commercial exploitation of IP
  • Collaborative and commissioned research
  • Consultancy projects.
  • Public lectures
  • Arts and culture activities

The university has a long tradition of collaborating with external research partners, from industry, government and the public sector.

It is part of the university’s vision to ensure that Knowledge Exchange is recognised as a key element in academic life.
