Funding Development Managers

Our team of Funding Development Managers (FDMs) provide expert advice and assistance. They:

Help to identify sources of funding for research.
Provide guidance on preparing research proposals.
Act as contact points for funding agencies (this includes organising funders’ visits to the university).
Organise cross-departmental networking events for researchers to support interdisciplinary bids between departments / faculties.
Facilitate discussions between researchers and potential project partners (e.g. businesses, public sector, the third sector).
Provide a link between faculties and research support services.
Deliver tailored workshops and training sessions with LTU.
