Skills Assessment

Working with our partner VentureNavigator we have created an easy to use online skills assessment. Transferable Skills are abilities you acquire through jobs and work experience, as well as from your personal life (hobbies, sports and other experiences), that can be used in a new job or career. Transferable skills are especially important to those who are facing redundancy, new graduates who are looking for their first jobs and to those returning to work after an absence.

This assessment will ask you to consider a series of statements in 6 groups and ask you to decide how they apply to you. Remember, this is not an exam! The assessment is designed to highlight what you should focus on when you write a CV or speak to a potential employer. It will also show areas where you could improve to develop a more rounded skill set and suggest relevant support and training.
