IP Licensing
Licensing opportunities
The university is keen to promote licensing IP to interested parties for commercial use. Technologies available cover a wide range from life and physical sciences to general business innovation ideas. We have several technologies which are currently available for licensing.
A flexible approach to Technology Transfer
The role of the Research and Enterprise Office is to enhance the scale and quality of Intellectual Property development and commercialisation activities. REO has a flexible and tailored approach to each commercial opportunity to ensure that we maximise the possibilities and benefits for IP transfer to the market-place.
When collaborating with the university on research, we follow the guidelines laid down in the Lambert Review. We negotiate all collaborative contracts individually and IP ownership varies according to the nature of the project.
