BIOGRAPHY

Rachel has been at the University of Essex since 2005, where she has studied for her BSc, MSc and PhD and has worked as a Research Assistant. She was employed as a Lecturer in September 2013.

RESEARCH OVERVIEW

Her research interests include the study of immediate memory, specifically investigating the effect of list length and output order in two immediate memory tasks, serial recall and free recall. Her thesis looked at several different variables and focused on understanding the effect of list length on the performance of the two tasks.
