BIOGRAPHY
I completed my BSc in psychosocial sciences at the University of East Anglia in 2009 before completing an MSc in Psychology at the University of Essex in 2010. I began my PhD in the same year.
RESEARCH OVERVIEW
My main research interests are in judgement and decision making. I am interested in topics of behavioural economics, studying how human choice differs from the assumptions of neoclassical economic theory. My PhD work explores cognitive and emotional components of the valuation disparity between owners and non-owners, known as the endowment effect. I am currently working on the memory-based model that could account for commonly observed asymmetries in value and preference constructions. I am also interested in how people make decisions under a condition of uncertainty, how do people comprehend statistical information, as well as what biases are prevalent and what heuristics people employ to guide their choice.
