BIOGRAPHY
Took first degree in Psychology at Middlesex University. Then took PhD in Psychology at Middlesex and lectured throughout the completion of the PhD in four years part-time. Spend a year lecturing at Anglia Polytechnic University in Cambridge immediately after completing my PhD. Came to Essex September 2005.
RESEARCH OVERVIEW
The broad areas of emotion and sport psychology. The role of emotional perception and anxiety in attentional biases. The relationship between emotional perception, awareness and rationality. Perception of emotion through nonverbal channels, particularly facial expression and body posture. The role of emotion in sport.
