BIOGRAPHY
I completed my first degree at the University of Malta in 2011 and started an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Essex in the same year. I passed my Masters with distinction and subsequently started my PhD, which is partially funded by the Silberrad Scholarship scheme and the Maltese Government Scholarship scheme.
RESEARCH OVERVIEW
My research will deal with immediate memory, more specifically verbal and visuo-spatial immediate memory. There is an on-going debate as to whether verbal and visuo-spatial memory are two distinct memory stores. My research aims to delineate the similarities between the two by utilising similar methodologies for both modalities.
