Joel Smith, Research Fellow
Joel studied as an undergraduate at Cambridge and as a postgraduate at University College London. Before taking up the Research Fellowship, he was a Teaching Fellow at Essex. He has research interests in the philosophy of mind, phenomenology and political philosophy. Joel is currently working on the self and others, and on Merleau-Ponty's philosophy.
