Graduate Student Handbooks 2011-2012
This handbook is an annual publication written
for graduate students in the School of Philosophy and Art History, and also for those
students taking a philosophy module as an outside option. It contains important
information about the School its staff, courses and modules.
It also contains web links to University-wide matters such as: University
regulations relating to progress, attendance and academic offences; appeals
procedures, student support services and careers.
This handbook should be read in conjunction with the University's
Student Handbook,
University Regulations, Policy and
Procedures and the Higher
Degree Regulations. These documents can also be found via ‘myEssex’,
your student web portal.
