Social Functions
Philosophy holds a number of social functions during the year,
sometimes specifically for undergraduates, but usually for both its
undergraduate and graduate students. This gives undergraduate students,
particularly those in their third year, the opportunity to meet with
some of our students taking higher degrees (MA/PhD). Our graduates are
always willing to offer advice, from a student's point of view, to
anyone interested in going on to do further study, whether at Essex or
elsewhere. Please check your handbook for more information on these
events.
