As part of the National Framework Agreement new terms of appointment for
all staff groups were agreed with the trade unions and implemented at 1st
August 2006. Following a revision to the University's Statutes
and Ordinances the terms
of appointment for the three main staff groups were revised
at 1st October 2007. In February and March 2009 further amendments
were made to take account of the job title changes for Academic staff and the
introduction of PensionsPlus for all staff. In October 2009
amendments were made to the rate of the University contributions to USS.
The revised terms
of appointment are set out below:
Academic Staff
Academic Related, Research and Senior Support Staff (Grades 7 to 11)
and
Support Staff (Grades 1-6).
