Welcome to Human Resources 

Human Resources provides:

• professional HR services in relation to the recruitment, selection and employment of all staff in the University
• expert HR advice, information and professional support to Heads of Department/Sections, senior officers of the University and to individual members of staff, as appropriate

The Human Resources Section also includes

• Equality and Diversity
• Health and Safety Advisory Service
• Occupational Health
• Learning and Development

The first stage of the project to implement the Integrated Human Resources and Payroll system (IHR) was successfully completed in 2011 with the implementation of the Midland HR i-Trent core HR and Payroll module. Further IHR modules including Employee Self-Service, Learning and Development, Occupational Health and Manager Access will be implemented during  2012. In due course a new IHR information web site will be created once the re-organised IHR system team is in place.
