Our professional development team works closely with organisations to develop high quality accredited and non-accredited Professional Development programmes that are responsive and specific to their needs.

We are flexible and contemporary in our approach; we are developing an e-Professional Development Network for you to gain access to current research carried out through Continuing Professional Development activities and are actively involved in partnerships with other training providers and professional bodies to deliver innovative and creative local, regional and national provision.

Courses

  • The Times Higher Education Awards 2012 - Professional Development Studies has been shortlisted in the Outstanding Employer Engagement Initiative category of the Times Higher Education Awards 2012.

  • Conference 2013 - How to do Relationship-Based Social Work 2  -  proposed date for the Conference is Friday 11 January 2013.  More details to follow.

  • Awards for 2010-2011 - CCE in Therapeutic Foster Care was a finalist in the Skills for Care Accolades 2010 in recognition of being both innovative and of high quality.  The presentation took place the Grosvenor House Hotel and were presented by Penny Smith.  Please click for photograph. SWAP Innovation in Learning & Teaching Awards - this award was presented in recognition of outstanding innovation in supporting learning and teaching.  This award is presented in the category of Curriculum Development.  Please click for photograph.
