Counselling Service (Colchester Campus)
The University has made arrangements with the Stockwell Centre to provide a free and confidential counselling service for its Colchester employees.
How to make an appointment
You can telephone the Stockwell Centre directly on 01206 768211. If
they are unable
to take your call, please leave a message with your name, telephone number
and what time you can be contacted.
To ensure confidentiality, if you are unavailable when
you are called back, the counselling service will not leave a message unless
you have specifically asked them to do so.
When making your first appointment, you should state that you work for the
University of Essex.
The first session will enable the counsellor to assess the nature of your difficulties and further sessions can then be planned.
The University will be charged for sessions staff fail to cancel in advance and the missed session may not be reinstated.
