Complementary Therapies
The following complementary therapies are available at the Colchester and Southend campuses. Although available on campus, they are provided by external practitioners , not the University. The University has facilitated their availability, because some people find them beneficial in helping them to manage their stress levels, and relieve aches and pains associated with their work. However the University does not endorse these therapies as treatments for medical conditions. You should seek advice from your GP if you are experiencing prolonged or regular pain, or ill-health symptoms associated with stress.
If your symptoms are work related, you should speak to your DSE Facilitator (if associated with computer work), your manager or the Occupational Health Advisor.
