Our rooms
The University of Essex Day Nursery is registered for the care of 120
children at any one time in 11 nursery rooms.
Children
are placed in one of our 11 rooms according to their age and developmental
needs - roughly divided into babies, toddlers, pre school.
Our rooms are carefully designed and equipped to suit the age of the
children being cared for. With our extensive toy and equipment library,
nursery staff regularly change the toys and activities for the children in
their care.
Each room has indoor and outdoor space for sand and water play, creative
activities, one on one activity and rest areas.
Outdoor space
Unusual
to many nurseries, each of our 11 rooms benefit from direct access to its
own secure garden. We are keen to give children plenty of access to indoor
and outdoor space in what we call 'free flow play'.
The nursery is securely fenced surrounded by grass and mature trees, a
peaceful environment for your child to enjoy.
